Giveaway Policy

Every now and then, I’ll host giveaways on the blog. All giveaways, unless otherwise stated, will follow these guidelines:

Giveaways are hosted for fun, and are not at all meant to be a form of gambling or sweepstakes.

Entrants are limited to the regions stated in the giveaway post. This may vary depending on the entity sponsoring the prize. For example, it may be US only because the publisher furnishing the prize will only mail within the US.

Giveaways will start on the date on the giveaway post and will end on the date specified on the giveaway post.

Each winner will have 48 hours to claim their prize, after being notified via the email they used to enter the contest. After 48 hours, if there is no response, another winner will be chosen.

If I am hosting the giveaway, I promise to mail the prize(s) to the winner(s) within 14 calendar days.

If the giveaway is sponsored by an outside entity (a publisher, author, or another blog/website), then winner will abide by their prize fulfillment periods, as the prize(s) will be mailed directly from them. I cannot be held liable or responsible, should an outside entity choose not to fulfill a promised prize. I will do whatever I can to try to get a company to make good on a promise, but in this crazy world, there are no guarantees.

All giveaway entrants agree to be honest and not cheat the systems; if I suspect fraudulent entries, I will disqualify any entrants at my discretion.

Any prizes that may result in tax or customs liability for the winner(s) are the winner(s) responsibility.

Giveaways may be promoted on Facebook, Twitter, email or other social network sites. This is a means of promotion only, and any promotion on those sites is not to be interpreted as Facebook or Twitter partaking in, or being in any way responsible for that particular contest.

Winner(s) assumes all responsibility if further clarification is needed, prior to either entering a giveaway on this site or claiming a prize at the conclusion of a contest.
